Charcoal, Acrylics and Gloss Gel Medium. Tips and tricks for contemporary artists.
The idea of combining charcoal and acrylics is getting more and more widespread in contemporary visual art due to the possibilities to seal charcoal elements and prevent them from damage while painting and after a canvas is done.
This workshop is about experimenting with the ways we can combine the use of traditional acrylics and charcoal on canvas.
Tutor will show the ways of combining painting and drawing within one picture, creating layers of semi-transparent paints, using gel medium. You will learn how to seal charcoal elements or blend them into acrylic painting.
During this workshop each student will create an individual painting on a medium to big size canvas.
